Lucky Stones (100-300mm)
Read more$145.00 TONNE1 T 3/4 T 1/2 T 1/4 T 20Kg Bag $145 $118.75 $87.50 $56.25 $14 Lucky Stones are large, round river stones that come in a blend of sizes: 100 mm to 300 mm (cricket ball to football size). These beautiful, decorative rocks bring an atmosphere of cool depths to garden areas and rockeries. Natural river stones are rounded, tumbled and smoothed by age-old water flow, giving them a tactile appeal. They come in a mix of colours ranging from mostly browns and beiges, to sometimes white or charcoal tones. As can be seen in the photo, many of these stones will be broken. Heavy machinery is used to process the stones and load them onto trucks. As the stones a dropped onto each other some stones Will break, this cannot be avoided.
A dry river bed can be formed by mixing Lucky Stones with some smaller river pebble such as the 50mm, 40mm Round River Stones, or possibly even 20mm sized pebbles.
When covering an area with stones, remember the bigger the stone, the more you need to properly fill an area, as it is preferable to have a depth of stones that is roughly twice their size. An effective option is to spread a layer of the larger rocks over the ground and then fill the spaces between with 40 mm Round River stones.
